  • Project Manager

    Project Manager

    This is a skilled position requiring a strong work ethic and the ability to fully manage and coordinate high-end residential construction projects from bidding through completion.

    Responsibilities include:

    Comprehensive knowledge in quantity takeoffs, estimating and budgeting.
    Contract negotiation.
    Contract administration.
    Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
    Pre-construction coordination.
    Scheduling and monitoring subcontractors. Ensure the crew’s daily and weekly activities meet production goals.
    Process day-to-day administrative items (i.e., RFI’s, submittals, shop drawings, procurement, quantity take-offs, etc.).
    Compose and edit letters, memos, reports, and procedures.
    Identify potential problems, work interferences and schedule difficulties.
    Anticipate manpower requirements and measure subcontractor performance.
    Change management.
    Oversight of concurrent remodel and maintenance projects.
    Tracking time and material work.
    Conducting owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings on a regular basis.
    Coordination with design team and consultants.
    Client relations.
    Financial forecasting.
    Elimination of obstacles that prevent progress in the field.

    Skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience include:

    High school degree or equivalent.
    5+ years of experience in construction and/or business.
    Familiarity with other construction trades and crafts.
    Excellent Microsoft Office skills and an ability/desire to learn new software systems.
    Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
    Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Assistant Project Manager

    Assistant Project Manager

    This is an entry level position requiring a strong work ethic and desire to learn and assist in project management tasks, methods and strategies while also becoming familiar with company systems and the standards of high-end residential construction.

    Responsibilities include:

    Ensuring jobsite safety.
    Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
    Scheduling and monitoring subcontractors.
    Ensure daily and weekly activities meet production goals.
    Advise project management of potential problems, work interferences and schedule difficulties.
    Compose and edit letters, memos, reports, and procedures as directed.
    Process day-to-day administrative items (i.e., RFI’s, submittals, shop drawings, procurement, quantity take-offs, etc.) per supervisor’s direction.
    Learn how to interpret schedules, anticipate requirements and measure subcontractor performance.
    Assist with research and preparation of field change requests to resolve design issues.
    Participate in ongoing updates and accurate generation of as-built documents.
    Attend project coordination and owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings as directed.

    Skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience include:

    High school degree or equivalent.
    0-2 years experience of construction and/or business experience.
    Familiarity with other construction trades and crafts.

  • Superintendent

    Superintendent

    This is a skilled position requiring extensive knowledge and experience in the construction industry. Playing a key role in the successful completion of any build, Superintendents must exhibit a strong work and leadership skills along with the ability to plan, organize, direct and control large scale, high-end residential construction projects.

    Responsibilities include:

    Implement and oversee jobsite safety.
    Identify all technical aspects and any problem areas prior to construction.
    Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
    Scheduling and monitoring subcontractors.
    Determine production sequence.
    Coordination of scopes of work with trades and subcontractors.
    Maintain and update construction schedule including forecasts, upcoming deliveries and outside trades.
    Keeping progress schedules current.
    Assist in calculating completion percentages for monthly invoicing and reporting.
    Review RFI logs continuously and identify any issues that might affect the project.
    Communicate with engineering, estimating and planning to ensure compliance with specifications and schedule.
    Maintain close communication with project manager on any unforeseen problems that develop.
    Complete daily reports.
    Ensure layout and quality control.
    Oversee foreman and carpenters.
    Track time and material work.
    Review shop drawings and submittals.

    Skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience include:

    High school degree or equivalent. Some college preferred.
    Completion of craft apprenticeship program or equivalent skill level and training.
    10 years of experience in supervisory position.
    Ability to understand project scopes and objectives as well as other construction trades.
    Advanced knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
    Current OSHA-30 Certification (or obtained within six months from date of hire).
    Strong oral and written communication skills.
    Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems before major issues develop.
    Effective use of computers and other technology.
    Willingness to be held accountable and act honestly and with integrity.
    Strong attention to detail and ability to remain diplomatic and calm under pressure.

  • Site Foreman

    Site Foreman

    This is a skilled position requiring extensive knowledge and experience in the supervision and coordination of construction remodels and maintenance projects.

    Responsibilities include:

    Ensuring jobsite safety.
    Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
    Scheduling and monitoring subcontractors.
    Ensure the crew’s daily and weekly activities meet production goals.
    Identify and communicate needs and deficiencies in the plan/schedule.
    Assist superintendent with determining production and progress.
    Layout and quality control.
    Review of shop drawings and submittals.
    Daily reporting.
    Assign tasks.
    Ensure project specifications.
    Perform craftwork along with crew.
    Verify that all tools and materials required are available and complete.
    Advise superintendent of equipment and material shortages.
    Ensure that completed work meets all relevant standards.
    Recommend work processes that will improve productivity and quality.
    Inspect completed work and initiate timely resolutions for any problems.

    Skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience include:

    High school degree or equivalent.
    5+ years of experience as a qualified tradesperson.
    Familiarity with other construction trades and crafts.
    Understanding of OSHA safety regulations as well as company safety policies and procedures.
    Current OSHA-30 Certification (or obtained within six months from date of hire).
    Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
    Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Property Maintenance Technician

    Property Maintenance Technician

    This position requires construction experience and familiarity with all of the systems typically found in high-end residential properties.

    Required general maintenance skills include carpentry, painting and drywall repair.

    A good appearance and positive attitude as well as strong communication and organization skills are important.
