Smuggler

A modern mountain sanctuary, the home features black and tan exterior dekton panelling that complements large format split faced basalt veneer. Interior finishes incorporate whit oak millwork and paneling complimented by black steel accents and a monumental one-inch thick plate steel guardrail that spans three full levels. Natural stone flooring, quarried in Switzerland, provides elegant grounding while a unique ceramic frit pattern shrouds the glass-lined stairwell to screen adjacent houses.

Alpha One

Built in a secluded Aspen neighborhood, Alpha One showcases expert engineering and high-quality materials. The structure includes extensive glass paneling, reinforced concrete and a steel-and-glass bridge suspended over a central Zen Garden. The great room features custom-fabricated dual fireplaces. The kitchen is highlighted with stone and metal. A dedicated wellness wing incorporates a sauna, steam room, and reinforced flooring for gym equipment. One of its most advanced features of the home is the motorized pool deck — the first of its kind in Aspen. Controlled by precise mechanical systems, the tiled platform lowers to reveal a variable-depth pool and spa.

Flatiron

A contemporary home, situated at the base of the Flatirons in Boulder, Colorado. The expansive glass connects the interior and exterior, offering sprawling views of the front range.  The interior features oak flooring and large lift and slide glazing. On the exterior, a deck terrace is cleverly automated to reveal a pool and spa. The project also features a recording studio, custom millwork, sculptural steel spiral stair, and a speakeasy.

Quarry

The Quarry Residence is nestled slopeside within Snowmass ski resort. Vals Quartzite is incorporated into the majority of the walls and floors, which was sourced from deep within the Swiss Alps. Patinaed copper, oak millwork and steel windows complement the stone and an interior spa and exterior pool round out the luxe amenities. The home is powered by geothermal heat pumps which utilizes the constant underground temperature to enable highly efficient heating and cooling.

Glass

This stunning house formed of cast concrete and glass, is nestled above the Roaring Fork River just outside Aspen. White oak millwork and flooring compliment integral plaster throughout. High-efficiency, European glazing maximize the views. Blackened steel accents and limestone cabinets add a subtle punch to an otherwise delicate palate. Designed by Zone 4 and Studio Piet Boon.
